World's First Mobile Phone - Motorola DynaTAC 8000x

     Today, we all are using mobile phones. We have many options in mobile phones & we buy a phone for us with a lots of specifications ( high mega pixels, HD display, high speed etc.)
But,
     Do you know about worlds 1st phone,  and its specifications?
     Journey of mobile phones started in 1973, and after slow progress of many years, we got our smart phones.

     On 3rd April, 1973 . Motorola showcase their phone in a event. This phone is only a prototype of wireless phones. At that time people uses land line phones and car phones( car phones are attached with cars and they are not convenient for use).

     There is no any concept of truly wireless phone till 1973,
But,
     Motorola introduced a prototype of this technology.
     Their is no any display in their phone and buttens are simply alliens in two rows.
     In commercially launching of this phone Motorola takes 10 years more and they have to clear a lot of certification at that time. Motorola invests 100 million $ in this project.

World's First Smart Phone -

     On 6 march, 1983 Motorola launched worlds 1st commercial mobile phone.
       Motorola DynaTAC 8000x
It is only an abbreviation, its full name is-          Dynamic Adaptive Total Area Coverage 8000x
This defines the concept of phone.
     His phone is not working on GSM because GSM is launch, 10 years leter from this phone. 
     This is a wireless radio device. Which can transmit two way signals, you can send your voice and also hears another voice.

Specifications :- 

1. It has no any screen, and its buttons are simply aliened in two rows. 

2. It's weight is 790 grams (approx). It is very big and heavy phone with a big antenna at the top.
(Peoples carry this phone in a briefcase, due to its size and weight.)

3. It's standby time is 6 hours.(If you not use this phone then, battery will also drain in 6 hours.).It takes 10 hours to recharge.
   This phone also support fast charging but, you have to buy an extra charging accessory for it, which can charge it only in 1 hour.
   It is very fast as compared to its standard charging time(10 hours).

4. You can store only 30 contacts in it.

5. Its Price was 3995$(dollars) in 1983, today it is equal to 9800$.
So, it is very expensive.

Calling Planes :-

     You have to pay 50$ per month, which is fixed.

• If you make calls from 9 am to 5 pm, you will charged 40 cents per/minute.
• If you make calls from 5 pm to 9 am, you will charged 24 cents per/minute.

This is all, about world's first mobile phone.
